Emergency Medicine residency programs have an increased push to engage residents and faculty in research. In today’s competitive residency search, many residency programs are looking for students with research experience. In addition, there are also research requirements at the resident level. Often times, students struggle with how to get involved with research. Your ACOEP RSO Research Committee is here to help!
To get started, review our Research 101 page to learn more about what types of research you could get involved in; remember, not everything happens in a lab with mice and test tubes! Emergency Medicine research investigates a broad range of disciplines: from Acute Coronary Syndrome to Zoonotic Infection Treatment.
Students: take advantage of our database COMs Research Department Contacts.
